Biography

Skylar Evans is an actress, model, Equestrian, studio artist and up and coming Registered Dietitian from the Oglala Lakota Nation. Her acting career has landed her roles in Yellowstone Season 5 and national commercial work.

Skylar was the first Native American model to be signed to the Undefined Models roster. She has done work for Sephora, Hanes, Walmart and Instacart and showcased designs on the Runway for several top designers at New York Fashion Week and SWAIA Indian Market Fashion Show. Skylar has been a competitive Equestrian since age 4 and has won several prestigious equine competitions. She developed her equine training, lesson and nutrition program, Greatness in the Saddle in 2017.

Skylar is an ambassador for Just Strong, Azazie, and Ama Bikinis. She is also a health and wellness ambassador for the Pre-Health Ambassadors for Kansas State University. Skylar is a current recipient of the Dominion Energy Equity Scholarship and was a recipient of the Dorothy MacRae Hyman Award through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Skylar received her bachelors of science with a major in studio art with a concentration in painting from the College of Art and Design at the University of Oregon. She is currently completing her second and third bachelors in Dietetics and Animal Science through Kansas State University and her Masters in Clinical Nutrition through Sonoran University of Health Sciences. She is set to graduate with her bachelors in Dietetics, May of 2024.
